Energy

    I went to the VA this week to inquire about some information, and as I walked in, I was told that I needed a sponsor to go upstairs. Having an appointment, I was told to contact the person my appointment was with and have them come escort me. Well, the front desk attendant heard who I had an appointment with and said, "Good luck getting that guy on the phone and better luck with getting him to come get you." I chuckled and said,'I was just on the phone with him, and he seems like a cool guy.' Well, I call, and dude answers then says, " I'm on my way." Not only did this guy answer my call, but he also came to get me and then assisted me with another issue I didn't even know I needed to deal with. 

    Our interaction was a great energy balance. I often feel drained when I have to deal with people who have a lot of technical expertise, but this guy knew exactly how to speak to me on the level I'm on to assist me. The energy I felt seemed to be mutually felt because when I walked off, he stopped me and says "don't worry about making another appointment. Just come back by, and I'll work you in." I could see the shock on the face of the front desk associate, so when I walked by him, I said,"He seems to be a great guy. " 

    I realize everyone is not approachable, but I do feel if you come to a person with a positive attitude or energy, they usually reciprocate that. As always, this is just my thoughts while I'm out and about.
